		<description>I use General Finishes Arm-A-Seal which is an oil-based finish.  I prefer to wipe my finish on rather than brush it and the GF is good for that type of application.  It flows out smooth and drys quickly.

Finishing for me is sometimes the hardest part of woodworking. I have a lot to learn.

So what oil do you think is best for popping the grain on maple?

I’ve used Tung oil followed by wipe on poly and had good results.

I never tried BLO but have read some good things about it. 

Do you have a favorite recipe?

BTW, I sold my 1st board yesterday and have 2 more ordered!</description>
