My lazy susans are made with a mix of exotic and domestic woods.  Many have figured maple, which is my favorite.  I use high quality, USA made, stainless steel ball bearing hardware which provides a smooth and easy rotation.  All of these are finished with three coats of an oil-based clear finish for a very smooth feel.  The bottom of each lazy susan is annotated to identify each type of wood, as well as signed by me.
